Vision for Education are seeking a Youth Worker to work within our Primary and Secondary SEND schools that caters to students with learning difficulties, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

- The Youth Worker will be supporting young people with Special Educational Need’s throughout the school day.
- Building a strong rapport with the students to encourage them to attend and thrive in school.
- Following the guidance of the teacher, while taking initiative to manage behaviours within the classroom.
- Working 8:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday.
- Working term time only.

- Schools are located in and around Bristol.
- Caters to students with moderate needs, learning difficulties and Social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Some schools are easily accessable with parking and transport links, although access to a vehicle would be advantageous.
- Supportive to staff, running weekly CPD training and team meetings.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Youth Worker you will:
- A relevant Level 3 Qualification such as Health and Social Care, or experience working with indidviduals with challenging behaviours is desired but not required.
- Able to obtain suitable references and a valid DBS check*
- A non-judgmental and caring approach.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS certificate.
