The School and the Role

Vision for Education are recruiting on behalf of a successful two-form entry Primary School in the Bootle area, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one behavioural support for a child in a Year 4 class. As their designated Teaching Assistant, it will be your responsibility to support the child on a one-one basis, working part-time Monday to Friday (08:45am – 12:45pm)

You will have access to support and training from school, as well as impressive school resources. In-line with the child's EHCP, you'll play a pivotal role in removing the students' barriers to learning and supporting them to achieve their full potential. You will be working closely with the SENDCo and outside agencies to enable the student to progress through the curriculum, so strong communication skills will be essential to the role. This role will be starting January 2025 and will continue through to July 2025. The successful candidate must have strong behavioural management skills.
