We are seeking supportive, nurturing, creative and inspirational teaching assistants who can provide an individualised and highly personalised learning for their unique class of pupils. This role in particular is supporting children with SLD, PMLD, Learning and Sensory Needs.

Vision for Education are working in partnership with a number of specialist schools within Batley to recruit for Activity Support Officer to work with children with SLD, PMLD, Learning and Sensory Needs.
This role is due to commence ASAP. Vision for Education can offer full and part time roles or daily supply that suits your needs.
Children are likely to be working at levels below those typically expected for their age.
About the school
This SEND school is based in the Batley area and is easily accessible via public transport.
There is also ample car parking. We are continually seeking quality caring staff members, who with additional experience and training may eventually become full time or even supply support staff members.
The school aims to consistently provide quality provision and learning experiences for their students which is both appropriate and personalised in meeting a wide range of complex needs for the students from 4 to 19 years old. The students remain at the heart of every decision they make to ensure that they are happy, safe and confident and that the opportunities they offer are matched to their needs for the present and for the future.
Requirements
- All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
- Have demonstrable experience of supporting and achieving exceptional outcomes with SEND learners within a mainstream or Special Needs setting
- Have experience of moving and handling in a care/school setting
- Be available full-time, Monday to Friday 08:30am-15:30pm.
About Vision for Education
Salary
£80 to £85 per day
- Recent experience obtained within the last 2 years, of working with children or young people, ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play or care setting. We must be able to obtain references from these roles.
