Vision for Education are looking to appoint a passionate ALN Teaching Assistant to work in specialist provisions ain Carmarthen Town and the wider county. The ALN Teaching Assistant will be supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs and abilities both in and out of the classroom academically and emotionally.

The ALN Teaching Assistant role will start on a ad hoc basis with the vision to becoming a full time, longer term contract for the right candidate.

Requirements:

The desired ALN Teaching Assistant will:

• Have experience working with children with additional needs
• Have a patient and caring nature
• Have the ability to motivate and engage students
• Have the ability to de-escalate challenging behaviours
