Vision for Education is currently seeking multiple Art Teachers to join secondary schools in the Saltash, Cornwall area. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on students' creative journeys while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

About the Role

As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and supporting students across a range of year groups. You will collaborate with other teaching staff, contribute to the development of lesson plans, and ensure that the highest standards of teaching are maintained. This position will include both day-to-day and long-term roles, offering flexibility to meet the needs of local schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Art lessons to secondary school students at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)

  • Support and guide students in their artistic development and creativity

  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and effective learning environment

  • Maintain effective communication with staff members and contribute to school-wide initiatives

Requirements

To be considered for the Art Teacher position, you should:

  • Have experience teaching secondary education at KS3 and KS4

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Hold a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary Teachers

  • Have a passion for teaching Art with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
