About the role

Job Title: Before and After School Club worker

Location: Manchester, Denton M34

Salary: £12.82 per hour.

Hours: 7:15am - 9:00am / 3:00pm - 5:30pm everyday.

The role is based within a school in Denton, Manchester, working with various pupils in the schools Before and After school club, the school is a thriving establishment within the Denton area. Ideally you will possess previous experience within a similar role working with children. With your strong interpersonal skills, and ability to form relationships with children you will provide activities to help children reflect, .

Job Roles

  • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly with other club staff and sharing responsibility for managing the club.
  • Liaise with school staff to ensure the club supports the school’s ethos and policies, and that information is shared about the children’s needs and behaviour.
  • Plan, organize, and lead a variety of age-appropriate activities (e.g., arts and crafts, games, outdoor play) to keep children engaged and active.

Requirements

The requested skillset the desired Teaching Assistant will require;

  • Will have recent experience working with children in similar roles.
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of educational professionals.
  • Have a passion for Mental, Health and wellbeing with the ability to plan and deliver playful, and hands on experiences for children.
