The role
Vision for Education is currently recruiting a Behaviour Mentor/SEND TA worker to join a small Primary school in Leeds (LS17). Working in this Primary school as part of an established team, the desired Behaviour Mentor will be working on 1:1 basis in supporting a Reception aged pupil with SEMH and SEND needs. The desired candidate will need to have had significant experience supporting with children with SEMH needs and a real desire to make a difference. You will support pupils in class as well as implement individual behaviour plans (SEMH plans) set by the SENCO and fellow members of the pastoral team.

This school is a One-form school located in a rural area of Leeds. It is at the heart of the community with inclusivity and positivity at the centre of everything they do.

Requirements
The desired Behaviour Mentor will:

• Be a role model to all
• Be able to de-escalate challenging situations
• Be proactive and support the engagement of pupils
• Be confident to deliver activities 1 to 1 and a small group basis
• Have a DBS on the Update Service
