Vision for Education are looking to recruit an engaging and dedicated BSL Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in a Special School within the North Tyneside Local Authority.
About the role
The successful candidate will be working 1 to 1 with a Young Person with Hearing Impairments (HI), who is currently on a vocational pathway and requires information to be signed to him using BSL.
About the school
The school caters for Post-16 students with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), a lot of the students will have complex medical needs.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of BSL Level 3 Teaching Assistant you will:
- You must have BSL Level 2 or 3, or be working towards Level 3.
- You must have experience working with students with SLD and PMLD.
- You must have a caring and nurturing approach to supporting.

Salary
£300 to £400 per week
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- BSL Level 2 or 3
