The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Class Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be passionate and committed to creating a positive and engaging learning experience for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the holistic development of each child.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 1, is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to engage in continuous learning.
  • A positive, proactive approach to teaching and learning.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a collaborative approach to teaching.
