Southend Secondary Schools are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Computer Science Teachers to join supportive and forward-thinking school teams from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for both ECTs and experienced teachers who are committed to delivering engaging lessons and inspiring students in the world of technology and computing.
The Role:
- Teaching Computer Science across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
- Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons
- Supporting student progress and attainment
- Contributing to the wider school community and department development
- Full-time permanent contract starting September 2026
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Computer Science within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management and subject knowledge
- A passion for technology, innovation and education
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
