About the role
Vision for Education are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of ICT/Computing to join a highly supportive SEND school team.

The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging ICT/Computing lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of pupils with SEND.
- Adapt teaching strategies and resources to ensure all learners can access the curriculum.
- Support pupils to develop digital literacy, computing skills, independence and confidence.
- Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress in line with individual learning goals and EHCP outcomes.
- Create a positive, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
- Promote effective use of technology across the curriculum.
- Contribute to safeguarding, wellbeing and the personal development of all pupils.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified teacher (PGCE/QTS/QTLS essential).
- Experience teaching ICT/Computing or a related subject.
- Knowledge of, or willingness to develop expertise in, SEND education.
- Understanding of SEMH.
- Is patient, resilient, and creative in their approach to teaching.
- Has strong behaviour-support skills.
- Can work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
To be considered for the role, you will:
- Have a suitable qualification, (QTS/QTLS essential).
- Have experience of working with children with special education needs and disabilities.
- Be confident in your abilities and skills to promote happy and confident learners.
- Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
