Job Description:
We are currently seeking motivated and adaptable Cover Supervisors to join our team and work with secondary schools across Newport. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education, possess strong classroom management skills, and are eager to make a difference in the lives of young people.

Responsibilities:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff.
• Delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring that students remain on task.
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school's policy.
• Providing support to students as needed, ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Liaising with teaching staff and school leadership regarding student progress and any issues that arise.

Requirements:

• A degree in any discipline is essential.
• Experience working within schools is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
