Vision for Education are recruiting for a Teacher of Design Technology for a secondary school based in Blackpool starting November 2024.

The role

This role will start November 2024 and to cover a resignation. The school will be looking to appoint permanently from April 2025, so would have the opportunity to transfer onto a permanent contract.

The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK and experience of teaching Design Technology at KS3 and KS4 level. Ideally the school would like a specialist in Resistant Materials, however the school would consider applications of qualified teachers from other Design Technology areas as well as Art &Design Teachers.

Requirements

To be considered for the Design Technology role you must:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)

• Be adaptable and flexible

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
