Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: UK QTS and experience working with students with special educational needs

The role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EBD Teacher, to play a crucial role in providing tailored educational support to students with special educational needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
As a EBD Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, individualised education to students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. You will be expected to create engaging lesson plans tailored to each student’s unique learning style, ensuring that all pupils can access the curriculum and reach their full potential. The role involves close collaboration with teaching assistants and support staff. You will also be expected to monitor and assess progress regularly, adapt teaching strategies as needed, and maintain open communication with parents and carers. A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach is essential, as you will play a key part in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment that fosters confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
Requirements
To be considered for the position of EBD Teacher, you will need to:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Primary or Secondary subject specialism – Ideally Maths and/or English.
Experience working with children with a variety of ALN.
Have previous experience within a similar specialist setting or strong transferable experience from a mainstream setting.
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of EBD Teachers and LSA’s
Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
