About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for ECTs looking to gain valuable classroom experience, build confidence, and secure rewarding teaching opportunities within secondary schools across Staffordshire.
As a Secondary Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons within your subject specialism
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive learning environment
- Support students’ academic progress and wellbeing
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different learners
- Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
Your teacher training, subject knowledge, and passion for education will make you an excellent candidate for these opportunities. Strong communication, organisation, classroom management, and the ability to inspire young people are essential skills within a secondary school environment.

Requirements
To be considered for the role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS completion by September 2026
- Experience working with children or young people through placements or previous roles
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A confident, professional, and reliable approach
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- The right to work in the UK
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
