We are currently recruiting for a school in the Sheffield area, who are seeking a permanent English teacher from April 2022 on a full time basis.

This is a full time permanent role, due to start in April 2022.
Specialising in the subject area of literacy who as part of the school’s middle leadership will take the lead to plan, co-ordinate and quality assure in their given area. Ensuring that the subject is consistently well planned and meets curriculum standards.
This is a challenging yet rewarding environment to work in and requires someone who has a nurturing yet resilient approach within the classroom, it is essential that you have previous experience in this area.

Set in Sheffield, this school focuses on the education of young people who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties and SEND including ASD, ADHD, PDA and attachment disorders.

Requirements
- • Have full UK QTS ideally specialising in English or be working towards QTS / QTLS
- • Experience of the National Curriculum framework and assessment
- • Have experience of working with young people with differing needs and abilities
- • Be available full time from April 2022
- • Hold an enhanced child and adult workforce DBS which is registered to the update service – Vision can assist with obtaining this if required
- • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of specialist teachers
- • Have a passion for supporting students and teachers, with the ability to work in small groups and on a 121 basis

Salary
£18,867 to £33,473 per year
- Full UK QTS (or be working towards this) with a specialism in English a minimum of 12 months relevant experience working with children, young people or adults.
