The School and Role
This rural Primary School in the Alnwick area (NE66) is currently seeking to employ a EYFS Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis from September 2026. The EYFS Teaching Assistant appointed for this role will be based across Nursery and Reception as required, supporting a range of children and working alongside a team of dedicated and experienced professionals. There may be elements of personal care required for this role, but training and supervision will be given to ensure the TA feels comfortable. This is a school where children are enabled to reach their full potential, and which creates an atmosphere of respect.
Requirements
The desired EYFS Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
