The School and Role

A two-form entry Primary School in Gateshead (NE11) is currently recruiting for a motivated EYFS Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis. The role of the EYFS Teaching Assistant will involve providing general classroom support within a Reception class. The role is full-time, and is due to continue for the full academic year. This is a vibrant school with a dedicated staff body, which was given a ‘Good’ rating by Ofsted.

Requirements

The desired EYFS Teaching Assistant will have;

- Experience of working with primary school aged children

- Experience of working with pupils with SEND

- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

- An ability to work as part of a team
