The role would be starting from after October half-term on a long term temporary basis, until the end of the academic year. There is also a strong possibility of it becoming permanent in January 2024. You would be working in a EYFS class, at a lovely school around 3 miles from Ely. The hours are 8:30 - 3:30 each day, 5 days a week.

A TA or Early Years Level 2 qualification is required for this role. It is essential the TA has some primary school experience, or perhaps has worked in other Early Years settings - having a good knowledge of grammar and phonics would be ideal.

This welcoming school has approximately 400 children, with 60 in EYFS and is rated by Ofsted as Good - only inspected last year so don't have another one looming for a while! The school work towards their principals each day to ensure they get the best from staff and their students with their inclusive atmosphere. You would work alongside an experienced EYFS team.

• Level 2 or above qualifications in Teaching Assistant or Nursery essential
• At least a year's experience of working with children of a similar age

• Experience working within Primary or EYFS environment, or equivalent
