We have an exciting opportunity for a Family Liaison Officer to join a Special Educational Needs School in Folkestone, You will play a vital role in building strong relationships with their students families, Your Primary responsibility will be to enhance communication between the school and home, ensuring families feel supported, informed and involved in their children’s education, You will work closely with parents, carers and staff to address concerns, offer guidance, and ensure every child has the support they need to succeed.
Requirements for Family Liaison Officer:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Previous experience in a school environment or working with families in a support role is desirable
- Caring, empathetic approach with a genius desire to help children and families thrive
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Knowledge of local services and support networks for families is beneficial
This Special Educational Needs School is a dynamic and nurturing environment dedicated to providing an exceptional education to children. They have two sites a Primary and Secondary site, they offer a supportive SLT Team and they also have a large onsite car park for all staff members.
