Geography Teacher Opportunity – St Austell, Cornwall

About the Role

As a Geography Teacher, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You’ll help students develop their knowledge of geographical concepts, skills, and awareness of global issues. Both day-to-day supply and long-term roles are available to suit your lifestyle and career goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach engaging and inclusive Geography lessons to secondary school students

• Foster a deep understanding of the world, geography, and the environment

• Encourage critical thinking, research skills, and global awareness

• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and contribute to school initiatives

• Support extracurricular activities, including field trips and geography clubs where possible

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE)

• Specialise in Geography or hold a relevant degree

• Have experience teaching at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

• Be passionate about geography and student development

• Demonstrate strong communication and classroom management skills
