Higher Level Teaching Assistant

£100-£110 per day

January 2025 – July 2025

A larger than average Primary school based in Goodmayes are seeking a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join their team for an immediate start. The school have 2 positions available:

Position 1 - Regular Mondays, 1 day per week. On this day, the Higher Level Teaching Assistant will be required to teach across both Year 1 and 2, and will need to have knowledge of the Read, Write inc programme. Planning will be provided in advance.

Position 2 – The ideal candidate will be based in the schools SEND hub, on a full-time basis. They must be able to provide confident support to children with needs spanning across a broad range of needs. In addition to this, the Higher-Level Teaching Assistant will need to be willing to cover classes should unforeseen teacher absences arise.

The school is based in a residential setting within the Goodmayes area, and provides the luxury of space. Classes and communal areas give natural light and air, and the outside space is also generous in size. Children here behave to an excellent standard, with teachers also delivering a to a high level.

Both roles are to start immediately, through until the end of the academic year.

Requirements

The desired Higher Level Teaching Assistant will have;

- A Higher Level Teaching Assistant certificate

- Able to provide 2 professional references
