About the role

Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a small SEND school in Westbury.

About the role

The role is based in either primary or secondary and is required to help support the class teacher and provide cover for PPA time. You will be required on a full-time basis. The hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm and they are looking to appoint as soon as possible and will run into next year, leading to permanent for the right person.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) you will:

  • Have an excellent understanding of how children learn
  • Motivate and inspire children
  • Have a positive working attitude and committed to continually improve teaching practice
  • Be committed to inclusion and equity
  • SEMH or ASD experience and training is highly desirable
  • Be organised, punctual and adaptable

Salary

£90 to £100 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Hold either an HLTA qualificaton, or have at least 2 years experience working within schools
