Vision for Education is working in partnership with a Secondary School in Blackburn to appoint a positive and dedicated HLTA. We are looking for someone special who is passionate about providing high-quality support and learning experiences for children to enable them to reach their full potential. Are you enthusiastic, positive, hard-working and flexible? Then we have the role for you!

We are looking for a HLTA who can;

  • Plan, evaluate and adjust lessons/plans as appropriate to respond to the needs of the pupils and deliver exceptional learning experiences
  • Support in assessing and documenting children’s progress, fostering a learning environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential, regardless of their ability
  • Assist in creating a vibrant classroom setting, including appropriate and stimulating learning resources, to enhance children’s learning
  • Actively contribute to wider school life and understand the importance of being part of a wider school community
  • Display high level of professionalism and integrity, and promote and safeguard the welfare of all children in line with the school’s safeguarding procedures

Requirements

  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification, or the willingness to work towards one
  • GCSE in Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • An enhanced DBS
