The School and Role

This ‘Good’ primary school, based in Sunderland are looking to appoint a passionate KS2 Teacher on a full-time basis. Previous experience of working within KS2 and working towards Y6 SATs would be advantageous. In this mixed ability Year 6 class there is 28 pupils including some children with SEND. This school believes in supporting and celebrating each child’s achievements to help them to reach their full potential.

Requirements

The successful Key Stage 2 Teacher will have:

  • Experience of working with primary school aged children.
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
  • An ability to work as part of a team.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • The ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning.
