About the role
The successful Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teaching Assistant will be working within a year 6 class in the mornings, working 1:1 with a pupil who is working at a slightly lower than required level. This would be general support through the morning lessons. This is from
In the afternoon the successful KS2 teaching assistant will be conducing intervention sessions with small groups of Y5 pupils, you will be expected to conduct the sessions and provide feedback to the class teacher.
- You will be expected to provide 1:1 support to the year 6 pupil
- You will need to be confident and able to work independently to support learning and facilitate each student’s development in a progressive way within the afternoons
- We will be looking for someone with the right personality and skill set to support young people in fulfilling their best protentional
- There are opportunities for the role to become permanent with the school going into September

Requirements
- Must have experience working in a primary setting
- At minimum hold a level 2 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent
