Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Primary Supply Teacher for KS1 to work in a local primary school in Weston-Super-Mare on a full-time basis to start as soon as possible.

The role

The Primary Supply Teacher will be working with a KS1 class and able to build positive relationships with pupils, engage pupils with their learning and manage behaviour effectively. The Supply Teacher would take responsibility for the learning of children and would use learning materials and plans to deliver lessons that promote the academic progress of children. The ideal Supply Teacher will be confident, proactive and resilient.

School Requirements

To be considered for the Class Teacher position, you will:

  • have experience teaching in Primary Schools
  • have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
  • be able to manage behaviour effectively
  • Ideally hold a driving licence and have access to your own vehicle

Salary Requirements (mandatory)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is

  • to hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or to be an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
