£667.50 – £1255 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

This ‘Outstanding’ Primary School in Gateshead (NE8 area) is seeking a KS2 Teacher to work on a full-time basis from September 2025, to cover a maternity leave in school. The successful KS2 Teacher will be working within Year 3 or Year 4, and will be taking on all responsibilities associated with the class teacher role (planning, marking, assessment etc.). This is a two-form entry Primary School, where staff work together to create meaningful opportunities for pupils.

Requirements

The desired KS2 Primary Teacher will have;

- Experience of working with primary school aged children

- Experience of working with pupils with SEND

- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

- An ability to work as part of a team
