Key Responsibilities
- Support class Teachers and Teaching Assistants in providing effective learning experiences which are appropriate to student’s individual needs and interests
- Foster a safe and stimulating environment for pupils where children feel confident and comfortable to work to the best of their ability
- Establish professional relationships with pupils and interact with them according to their individual needs
- Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and comfortable learning environment
- Work 1:1 and in small groups supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEND) to ensure inclusivity and engagement in the classroom
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in an educational setting
- Ability to work well as part of a team as part of a multi-agency approach
- An enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
