About the role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to guide students in managing their emotions and working towards their targets. This is a very rewarding role for those who are wanting to make a difference to young adults’ lives.
About the school
An 'Excellent' specialist SEND provision in Chesterfield are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work full time or part time with SEND pupils. The pupils range from ages 3 – 18-year-olds. The pupils have social, emotional and mental health needs, PMLD and some with ASD, ADHD and EBD.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will:
- • Experience of working with primary or secondary school aged children.
- • Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
- • A passion for the progress of SEND primary and secondary school pupils
- • An ability to work as part of a team
- • Experience working in the care sector is desired.

Salary
£385 to £425 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
