About the role

Vision are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to be in the classroom supporting a student on a 1:1 basis at a lovely school in the Kings Lynn area, to start in January

About the role

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience supporting children within a classroom setting. The role will start as a temporary role and can become permanent after an 18 week period if the placement is successful. You will be working 1:1 with a child in Year 2, assisting with the development and implementation of their education, and ensuring that they are understanding the curriculum. As with any 1:1 TA role, it will involve encouraging the child to interact with others and engage in the activities provided by the teacher.

About the school

This is a small, supportive school with an established staff team and a fun ethos. Together the school encourages their children to step out from their comfort zones to build self esteem and broaden their horizons. They are keen to challenge their staff with new training and progression opportunities.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will:

  • - Enhanced DBS ( on update service) - We can run one for if you don't have one
  • - Level 3 in childcare or equivalent (preferable but not essential if experienced)
  • - Experience of working with children on a 1:1 basis

Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. We take our responsibilities extremely seriously. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
