Working in this Secondary School as part of an established team, the desired Mathematics Teacher must be able to teach GCSE and A-Level Mathematics to a high standard as students at this school are working above the national average. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mathematics Teacher who is seeking a high-achieving school with Sixth Form. Staff at this school feel supported by SLT, and students are encouraged to achieve academically, with students in the 2024 cohort going onto Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities.
This Mathematics teacher role is a permanent role starting in September 2025 and is suitable for ECT’s.
Requirements
The desired Mathematics Teacher will;
- Plan creative lessons that inspire analytical thinking and develop problem-solving skills.
- Have confidence, passion and enthusiasm to ensure students are engaged in lessons.
- Be responsible for assessing students against learning outcomes and ensuring all groups of students make progress.
- Encourage students to put the skills learnt in your classes into practice in the wider world.
- Have a good knowledge of the UK Curriculum.
- PGCE in Mathematics with QTS and right to work in the UK.
- Suitable for ECTs!
