About the role

As a Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Nursery Teacher in creating a safe, caring, and stimulating learning environment for children aged 3-4 years old. Your main duties will include helping to plan and deliver activities and lessons, supporting individual children with their learning and development, and ensuring that the Nursery is a safe and nurturing environment for all children.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Nursery Assistant Needed Urgent you will:
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Education and Care or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working in a Nursery or Early Years setting
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and statutory requirements for safeguarding and child protection
  • A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development and wellbeing.

Salary

£350 to £400 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • The successful candidate must have a DBS on the update service and be able to provide relevant references.
