Vision for Education is currently recruiting for a passionate Nursery Assistant to join a primary school in Kendal on a full-time, fixed-term contract from January 2025 to the end of the academic year. About the Role

As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children aged 3-5 years with their early learning and development. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting children’s play and learning activities, both indoors and outdoors.
• Assisting with personal care routines such as toileting, dressing, and meal times.
• Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
• Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and supporting children’s development milestones.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements

• A strong understanding of safeguarding policies and practices.
• Flexibility and the ability to work well as part of a team.
