Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Pastoral Manager to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local Secondary school in Derbyshire.

About the role

This is a Supply teaching role, offering full and part time, and flexible working conditions to suit your needs.

The desired Pastoral manager is working within a secondary school in Derbyshire. You will be working with students with a wide range of ability levels from diverse backgrounds, working alongside other professionals to support students. This role would require someone with experience of working with students, teachers, and other school staff members to help support students within a multitude of different scenarios and situations, general school issues, SEND, SEMH, with pastoral and administrative tasks. Having experience of managing staff members is desirable in this role.

The post holder would be one with a professional and exemplary attitude, whilst being adaptable, approachable, and flexible in their approach to supply work. Being motivated and enthusiastic with an open mind and ability to tailor their style and methods to become an asset in an educational environment.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Pastoral Manager you will:
  • • Relevant experience in Pastoral roles in an education setting
  • • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary staff.
  • • Have a passion for working with secondary age students.
  • • Have experience of working with children with SEND, SEMH.

Salary

£10 to £11 per hour

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
