The role

The ideal Primary Teacher will:

• Have experience of working with primary school aged children

• Support pupils who face barriers to learning

• Be able to engage pupils with learning activities

• Have a passion for the progress of primary school pupils

• Be able to manage behaviour effectively

The Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school in South Gloucestershire has a dedicated team of staff with high aspirations and commitment to enriching children’s learning. The school provides a varied and engaging curriculum. The ideal Teacher for this role sets high standards and supports children to achieve their full potential. The school takes pride in their supportive environment for both staff and students, which is evident through their ethos and values. School hours are 08:30am – 3:30pm, term time only.

School Requirements

To be considered for the Class Teacher position, you will:

  • have experience teaching in Primary Schools
  • have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
  • be able to manage behaviour effectively
  • ideally hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle

Salary Requirements (mandatory)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is

  • to hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or to be an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
