Southend Secondary Schools are seeking enthusiastic and committed Science Teachers to join supportive and forward-thinking school teams from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for both ECTs and experienced teachers who are passionate about delivering engaging science lessons and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
The Role:
- Teaching Science across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
- Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons
- Supporting student progress and attainment
- Contributing to the wider Science department and school community
- Full-time permanent contract starting September 2026
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management and subject knowledge
- A passion for science education and student development
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
