The School and Role

An East Riding secondary school seeks to appoint an Science Teacher to work in a full time, fixed term role from September 2025. The successful Science Teacher will be responsible for teaching Science to pupils in KS3 and KS4 classes. This fixed term contract will run from September 25 until at least January 26. It may be possible that the successful temporary teacher will offered a permenant role beyond the fixed term contract.

This large secondary academy is based in the East Riding of Yorkshire approimxately 7 miles away from Hull city centre. This academy is part of a successful multi academy trust and benefits from excellent leadership and a supportive working culture that places the well being of staff at the forefront of practice.

The desired Science Teacher will have;

- Qualified Teacher Status

- Experience of teaching Science to KS3 and KS4 in a UK based secondary school setting.

- A passion for the progress of secondary aged pupils

- An ability to work as part of a team
