Vision For Education are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Preston Secondary school. This is a full-time term-time position to start in January 2023.


About the role

Are you a Teaching Assistant or cover supervisor looking for a step up to Higher Level Teaching Assistant? We are working in partnership with a Secondary School based in Preston who are seeking to appoint a HLTA to join them from January 2023.

As a HLTA, you will connect directly with the students helping to make sure they get the very best from their education.

The purpose of the Higher Level Teaching Assistant is to support the Class Teacher with all elements of the day to day running of the class and to teach from pre-set work across full classes, groups and individual lessons in consultation with the Class Teacher on a regular basis across a range of classes across Key Stage 3 & 4

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Secondary Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) you will:
  • Experience as a HLTA or Cover Supervisor preferred
  • Experience in a Secondary setting required
  • Flexible in their approach to work
  • Genuine passion for working within schools in a large and caring team

Salary

£15 to £25 per hour

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Experience in a Secondary school setting
