The School and Role

The secondary school, based in Swansea are looking to appoint a Welsh Teacher for a November 2024 start on a full-time basis.

Working in this secondary school as part of an established team you’ll be teaching pupils across KS3/4, and OR 5 depending on experience. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career or an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge. This school caters for pupils aged 11 to 18 offering wider career progression, continuous professional development and a professional, supportive team.

Requirements:

The desired Welsh Teacher will need:

- To be a qualified Welsh teacher and have the ability to teach up to a GCSE level – A level is preferred, but not essential for this role

- Experience of working with Secondary school aged children

- Excellent classroom management

- A passion for the progress of secondary school pupils

- An ability to work as part of a team and flexible approach to support this schools requirements
