Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Gravesend
Pay: £160 to £260 per day (via PAYE)

Vision for Education is working in partnership with a large special school in Gravesend for pupils with Profound, Severe and Complex needs. We are seeking a dedicated, caring and compassionate Teacher who is keen to nurture children and young adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

While experience working with children with SEND would be beneficial, we would love to hear from candidates with a strong foundation in EYFS and Primary curriculum knowledge who are keen to further their learning in SEND.

The Role

• Establish a safe and stimulating environment for pupils where children feel confident and comfortable to work to the best of their ability
• Deliver engage lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of pupils with a wide range of SEND
• Recognise that each child is unique and adapt teaching styles appropriately to facilitate effective learning experiences
• Highlight and celebrate each individual pupil’s achievements and inform pupils how they can improve further
• Work collaboratively and efficiently as part of a multi-agency approach

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Experience working with children with SEN, ideally in an educational setting
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
