Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join a school for children with additional learning needs in Newport. This full-time position offers a fantastic opportunity to support children with additional learning needs across various year groups.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons tailored to the diverse needs of students.

Implement differentiated learning strategies to make lessons accessible to all pupils.

Collaborate with school staff to ensure a multi-sensory approach to learning is consistently applied.

Provide ongoing support and encouragement to students with additional learning needs, helping them achieve their full potential.
Essential Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Proven experience working with students with additional learning needs (prior experience in a special school is not essential)

Genuine passion for supporting children with learning difficulties and a proactive, hands-on approach to teaching

Understanding of how to adapt lessons and teaching methods to suit a variety of learning needs
Ideal Candidate:

Must hold a teaching qualification in the UK (QTS)

Experience working with Autism, PMLD, SLD, and other complex learning needs is beneficial

Enthusiasm for supporting children with diverse abilities

A strong commitment to supporting children with additional learning needs and a desire to grow within the sector
