The role
Vision for Education is currently recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a Primary school in Leeds to start in January on a Full-Time basis. Working in this Primary school as part of an established team, the desired Teaching Assistant will be working in a SEND provision which is located in the primary school. You would be supporting children with a range of SEND and SEMH needs for KS1 and KS2 aged children.
The school
This school has a ‘good’ Ofsted rating and is a 2 1/2 form Primary school in LS12 that welcomes a diverse range of pupils . We are therefore looking for a candidate that can communicate effectively with pupils from a variety of backgrounds.
Requirements
The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have:
• Have experience working with Primary School aged children.
• Have experience working with pupils with SEND.
• Have a passion for helping to support teaching staff across all subjects.
