Vision for Education are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis conducting 1:1 support with a pupil in a Year 2 with behavioural needs with an EHCP.

Vision for Education are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis conducting 1:1 support with a pupil in a Year 2 with behavioural needs with an EHCP.

There is more than one vacancy available, so we are looking for candidates to work in EYFS, KS1 or KS2.

About the role:

  • Working on a 1:1 basis
  • Supporting a student in Year 2 with an EHCP/ behavioural needs
  • Use a child-centred approach to provide the best support for student’s learning and development.
  • This Teaching Assistant role is a full-time, long-term role from January on an ongoing basis.

About you:

To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:

  • Have previous experience working with primary-aged children and students with a range of special educational needs.
  • Suitable qualifications to work with young people and support students with SEND, this is highly desirable.
  • Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
  • Be able to work as part of a team and be confident dealing with occasional behavioural challenges
  • Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
