We are currently seeking additional Teaching Assistants to work within our partner primary school settings in and around the Knowle area.

About the role

We are seeking a supportive, nurturing, creative and inspirational teaching assistants who can provide an individualised and highly personalised learning. Vision also offer a range of full time, part time and ad hoc supply work across Primary schools.

The role is in a mainstream setting catering to pupils with a broad range of SEND 'needs' including SLD, PMLD, Learning and Sensory Needs, Neurodiversity, Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant (SEMH) you will:

  • Have experience of hoisting/moving and handling of service users
  • Have previous experience of working with children or young people; ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play or care setting within the last 2 years.
  • Hold, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS, registered to the Update Service

Salary

£13.68 - £15.00 per hour
