The Role
We are looking for a SEND HLTA to work in a School supporting children in a SEND environment. Working as part of an established team, the desired SEND HLTA will be supporting children 1-1 or in small groups in an outdoor learning envrionment. This role will be Monday to Friday 8:30 – 15:30.

This PRU school in Hereford looks to create a supportive and non judgemental, nurturing environment for young people to feel safe to engage in learning. Everyone at the school is respected and treated as individual, and when their pupils arrive they are keen for them to reflect on their behaviour and gain a better understanding of themselves. With personalised timetables and a mentor at hand, pupils have access to a range of opportunities – academic and vocational – that will help them on their future path.
Requirements
- Experience working with SEND children
- Have a caring and positive nature
- Be able to build positive relationships with children and young people
- Understand the crucial importance of keeping young people and children safe
- Be willing to pay for a DBS check and register with the Update Service
- PRU experience is desirable but not required

Salary
£98.59 - £103 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
