Vision for Education are working closely with a large Primary School in Ashford who currently have a vacancy for a SEND SRP Teaching Assistant to join their team. You will be working closely with children with SEN such as ADHD, Autism and learning difficulties. The school are looking for someone who has experience supporting SEN and is compassionate and approachable to the children. This is a fulltime role and is due to start in January 2025.
Requirements for SEND SRP Teaching Assistant:
- GCSE Maths and English Essential
- Previous experience working with children with SEND
- Have the ability to relate well to children and adults understanding their needs and being able to respond accordingly
- Good influencing skills to encourage pupils to interact with others and be socially responsible
This is an inclusive Primary School located in the heart of Ashford, This school has an onsite nursery and a SRP unit to accommodate children with SEN. The school has a lot to offer such as a large car park for all staff members, regular training every 3 months and a great supportive SLT Team.
