Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a full-time SEND Support Assistant to work in local SEND school Monday- Friday based in Taunton, to start as soon as possible.

About the role

The role is working with children with challenging behaviour and other additional needs in a SEND school. The school is a supportive popular school in the area with small classes that caters for children of all ages with additional needs. The hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm and you must be able to work full-time, term time only.

The School is a mixed SEND School from the ages of 4 - 18 years. The school is fantastic at fostering relationships with students and families, allowing children to thrive in an inclusive environment. With a range of resources and equipment, pupils have access to a wide range of therapies and interventions to support their wellbeing.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEND Support Assistant you will:

• Experience working with children or adults with SEND or challenging behaviour

Salary

£12.86 to £13 per hour

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
