The School and Role
We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in primary school in North Tyneside.
The role will be to provide support on a 1:1 basis a child with Downs Syndrome who will need support to settle into school, develop her communication skills, make friends and fully participate in all that a mainstream school has to offer.
Monday - Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm. Our school are committed to being the very best it can be for their students and community. They believe that with the right support all students can achieve and it is their aim that every individual is celebrated for their achievements.
Requirements
The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
