The Role
We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a School supporting children in a SEND environment. Working as part of an established team, the desired Trainee Teaching Assistant will be supporting children 1-1 or in small groups. This role will be Monday to Friday 8:30 – 15:30.

This school in Hereford is a specialist school for children and young people with a variety of SEND needs. Everyone within this school is respected and treated as an individual. When the pupils arrive, the school is keen for them to reflect on their behaviour and gain a better understanding of themselves. Requirements
- Experience working with SEND children
- Have a caring and positive nature
- Be able to build positive relationships with children and young people
- Understand the crucial importance of keeping young people and children safe.
- Be willing to pay for a DBS check and register with the Update Service .

Salary
£12.86 to £13 per hour
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
